20 inch 6 stage filter composed of 2, 1 micron filters, KDF55, KDF85, ion exchange resin and GAC. Filter treats 160,000 gallons of water or 640,000 liters. Replacement filter for whole house filter systems or other similar water treatment applications. Removes hundreds of different contaminates from your drinking water. Softens water, reduces lead, pesticides,VOC and organic pathogens. The granular activate carbon, KDF55 and KDF85 reduces contaminates through the three filter materials more efficiently that just the activated carbon filters of other suppliers. In test the KDF55 and KDF 85 after processing 20,00- gallons of water were still at 99.9 % efficiency and the same filter size of granular activated carbon was close to 90% effective indicating a longer service life for KDF filter as compare to similar granular activated carbon filters.
